Quick answer
The Armordillo CoveRex TFX hard folding tonneau cover is a direct fit for 2004-2015 Nissan Titan models with a 6'5" bed. It offers low-profile protection and weather security, but verify your bed rail type and tailgate cap before ordering.
Why bed length matters
Nissan Titan beds vary in length, and a cover designed for a different size will leave gaps or fail to seal. The CoveRex TFX is specifically engineered for the 6'5" bed, so it aligns with the front bulkhead and tailgate without overhang. Measure your bed's interior length at the floor to confirm you have the 6'5" version before purchase.
Low-profile design and clearance
The CoveRex TFX sits low on the bed rails, which improves rear visibility and reduces wind resistance. However, the low profile means it may not clear taller accessories like stake pockets or oversized headache racks. Check that your truck's bed rail height and any aftermarket add-ons do not interfere with the cover's hinge points.
Decision rules for the CoveRex TFX on Nissan Titan
- Measure your bed length: Confirm your Nissan Titan has a 6'5" interior bed length. The CoveRex TFX is built for that exact size; a different bed length will not fit properly.
- Check bed rail type: The cover uses a clamp-on or drill-on rail system. Ensure your truck's bed rails are clean and free of corrosion. Some aftermarket bed liners may require trimming for the clamps to seat. If you have a thick bed liner, test-fit the clamps before final installation.
- Tailgate clearance: The low-profile design works with most stock tailgates, but an aftermarket cap or seal might reduce clearance. Open and close your tailgate with the cover installed to verify it does not bind.
